3D hepatic cell models of Plasmodium infection
The project aims at developing an novel 3D cell platform for drug screening and identification of compounds that are active against hepatic infection by Plasmodium parasites. The project is funded by Merck and is a partnership between iMM (PI: Miguel Prudêncio) and iBET (PI: Catarina Brito).
