Saharan dust events and impacts on health in Portugal and Morocco

Portugal and Morocco, due to their geographical position, are quite exposed to the occurrence of these type of natural events triggered by sandstorms and dust emission from the Sahara desert. In the project, we intend to inventory the recent events (since 2010) of Saharan dust intrusions that affected the North of Morocco and mainland Portugal and contribute to the knowledge of its impacts on the health of the populations.
