Project exploring the cultivation of coffee under agro forestry system, with genotypes for shade exposure, and cropped in several countries across the tropical region (Africa, Asia, South and Central America). Studies focused in the plants capability to cope with climate changes (e.g., drought, temperature, mineral nutrition), and bean/cup quality, from morphological and ecophysiological aspects down to molecular clues, but including also social and economic aspects, etc...
